To respond to what God says do 
Yesterday has passed and gone 
Tomorrow is still a day away 
But today is the "now" time 
To respond to what God has to say 
Did you make use of yesterday 
You had a whole year to respond 
If you use the new year coming 
At its end what will have been done 
Will you still be in the same rut 
Excuses all ready laid out to see 
Explaining that life was too busy or tough
Your focus never moved off "me"
We can't do a thing about "lost time"
We can't use time that is not here 
The "now" time of the day right now 
Will count for God if you don't live in fear
