I saw the sun rising in the morning
There was a reflection upon the water of a lake
The picture that was captured there 
Enraptured me and my breath did take 
There was a cross in the reflection 
As tho God was reminding the world once again
That He had given us His Son
His Son had paid the price for sin
What wonder to behold as my eyes beheld the view 
God's hand has placed this image there 
The sun and the cross shining together 
The illumination they brought together as a pair
This sight was amazing to say the least 
What a privilege to capture it to share 
I wonder why the world didn't fall to their knees 
When the Son and the cross together stood there
