Enjoy the Creator


Does God have to remind you too often 
To smell the flowers along your way 
Does He have to find ways to still you 
Long enough to give thanks for your day 
Is He in your mind continuously 
or do you find a loss of time enough 
To let Him quietly speak with you 
Struggling on your own way through a day too rough
I know He is trying to hold our attention 
Reminding us we are not sharing time with Him 
Then we wind up with the lesser enjoyment 
trudging through a day quite grim
He has given us a world of beauty 
Taking time to behold renews each day 
He gives us Himself in numerous wonders
To gladden our hearts along the way 
He speaks to us to "smell the flowers, look at the trees"
Walk on the shorelines and enjoy the view 
Look at the mountains in majesty and power 
Breathe in this wonderous creation given to you 
See the Creator and wear a smile 
You won't have to worry about a bad mood
If you make sure time is made each day 
For fellowship with God, our Creator, to include
