Even in the best of times
Fear will try to come around.
Interjecting thoughts that insinuate
That God just can’t be found.
God’s desire at that moment
Is that His voice we hear.
If we are grounded in His Word
His voice will dispel all fear.
Perfect love casts out all fear
God has the perfect love
Fear is a tool used by the devil
To keep our focus from God above.
God’s awesome power is enough 
To teach us in whom to trust
Trusting God will keep us from fear
Having His word in our heart is a must.
God’s Word has the power of life and death
It is our choice as to what we will hear
He will keep us straight and walking in love
There is nothing we have to fear.
