Mind Control?

It's sad how much time we give
To just one thought that fogs our mind
One that should have passed right through
But a stronghold it has managed to find
Aggrevation has become the "super glue"
That holds it so tight with its bond
We won't allow it to break free and escape
For it would just be replaced with another one
The only thought we should let capture us so
Is how to worship God with a free mind
Let the love of Jesus and peace like He gives
Fill all the places bad thoughts could find
Keep the petty thoughts totally exterminated
Focus on sharing who keeps you free
Then you won't be flooded with continual thoughts
That bring the question, "What about me?"
What you dwell on in your thinking
Will speak volumes of who's in control
If God is the main thought of all your thinking
Then His peace will flood your soul
If we let Him cleanse our thoughts
Love Him and live life His way
We will not be tormented or end up confused
By allowing any "unwanted" thought to control our day
