Worship in a Clean Temple

Our body is the temple of the Lord
Sometimes our temple needs a good cleaning
Letting God remove all the unacceptable trash
Will give worship to Him a new meaning
He may have to "turn over" some tables
He may have to send some people on their way
He hopefully won't have to become too angry
For us to hear what He has to say
There cannot be any real worship
Until some stuff has been truly cleaned out
God loves clean places for His Spirit to dwell
He will not dwell in "filth" no doubt
It may take a while to really clean us up
A good scrubbing will take more than a minute
But just maybe God's great power will succeed
In cleaning our temple enough to hold a service in it
