Today is your day 
God has it all in a plan
He wants your day to be special 
He will do everything He can
To make it enjoyable 
From beginning to the end 
Because He loves you so much
Because He is such a wonderful friend
He wants you to have a day 
That is free from worry and care
He will take care of all your fear 
If you will just remember He is there
He would love to see you enjoy His creation
The grass, the sky and all the trees
He would love to see you smile at life
Sit in the park and enjoy the breeze 
Get a glass of cold lemonade 
Sit in the shade and watch the Son
Every way you can possibly turn and look 
You will see what God has done 
It is your choice for twenty- four hours 
To live in peace or in despair 
 God has this wonderful day planned 
Every minute with you to share 
He will not stay around your misery 
So give it up and laugh a while 
When you see how special He has made your day 
You will spend it all with a smile
