God so Looks After Me

God has a very delightful way
To show me how silly I can be
In allowing the non-important things of life
To fully irritate me
He has to remind me often
He doesn’t want me to lose my joy
Telling me to give up and let go
Of all the things I allow to annoy
I can dwell on something so petty
Until it can turn into a major fight
Then I wonder why I can’t be free
Nothing in my day goes right
I am glad God has the clearer picture
He can keep me from disaster true
I just have to listen to His guiding
He will make sure I get through
I pray He will deliver me
From dwelling on things so unnecessary and small
Then I can be as delightful as Him
Living without any petty thing at all
