God loves laughter 
That’s what His Word tells me 
Chocolate of any kind, I tell Him 
Fills me with such glee
We make a point each day 
To help each other smile 
For God has a sense of humor 
As together we walk each mile 
He doesn’t want me to be sad 
I don’t want to break His heart 
Each day as I say “good morning, Lord”
I try to smile right from the start 
He is more important 
Than any chocolate could ever be 
But it sure makes my day 
To know He indulges me 
I will enjoy laughing with God 
As I journey to our meeting in the sky 
I know He will meet me at Heaven’s gate 
With His very best chocolate pie
