I'll Let God Do The Looking

I don’t want to “look through my eyes”
For then I would miss God’s plan
My eyes can’t clearly see the way
So much I can’t understand
God knows the way these feet will go
In my continuing walk with Him
His eyes stay bright as the morning
Tho age will cause mine to dim
It’s not so important what “I see”
It’s more important I follow God’s voice
When it comes to choosing how to live
I will allow Him to make the choice
My life and my happiness here
Is totally left in God’s care
There wouldn’t be much left to enjoy
If I had to worry “is He there?”
Peace is what I’ll have from Him
If I let Him direct my way
It would be pure foolishness for me not to
For He has already “seen my day”
