God can use some really weird things 
To get your attention when He wants to speak 
From the things that seem way too strong 
To the things that are so weak 
He can use just a brush of air
That gently blows past your skin 
Or a leaf fallen from a tree 
Or the bare limb where the leaf had been 
He can use a spoken word
That before would have been ignored 
In the quiet of night from a strangers mouth 
Or from your heart where His word is stored 
He can use a simple smile 
For a tremendous way to communicate 
That He has some news for you 
In His time He is never late
A twinkling star hanging in the sky 
Can tell you much that God would say 
How His power stays strong and true 
For any problem in your day 
The world is full of wonderful things 
That speak to us of a love so true 
God just loves to take the time 
To make them all speak to me and you
