It is so amazing to me 
That two people as different as day and night 
Can share so many of the same things 
Not dwelling on who’s wrong or right 
Complimenting each other as we grow 
Sharing lessons that God has taught 
Remembering to say, “I love you”:
Laughing over the few times we have fought 
Times are flying so swiftly away 
But it brings a likeness as we mature 
Seeing more of the strength of each other
Character forming that will long endure 
The special part of your life I share 
Is trying to figure what part of you I see 
That gives you strength to carry on 
That you could have gotten only from me 
The greater thrill that gives me strength 
Is to watch God develop the woman you are 
Knowing you trust Him and walk His way 
Realizing that is what has gotten you so far
He has not brought us this far to leave us 
He taught us to swim in waters rough 
He built a home in us that can’t be demolished 
He blesses us both with “Grace Enough”
