Wow! No longer than I have been up today 
Satan is already starting his “play”
He is causing thoughts in my head 
To pile up, planning for an angry day
I find myself imagining situations 
That couldn’t possibly, really take place 
But if I don’t ask God for help right now
Evil will make sure they stay in my face 
Lord, I give to You my thoughts today 
I submit to Your will and control 
I want the One with the greater power
To stabilize me and quiet my soul.
You are an awesome God 
I have no fear in coming to You
Let my thoughts be of worship today 
Let me honor You in all I do 
Heavenly Father, keep me in Your will today 
Let me listen and follow step by step 
I won’t have to experience an “angry day”
If I don’t hesitate in asking for Your help.
