Shutdown

“Shutdown” is not a bad thing
When it brings you to the place
You find you are stressing way too much
Over the things in life you face
When you lose sight of the fact
There are things that you cannot change
Shutdown is a blessing in disguise
To keep your focus in fair range
Only God can change another’s mind
To cause them to turn their life around
You have to give it up and let it go
Make sure peace in your life doesn’t let you drown
God has ways for you to live
To make sure life is at its best
You make it work in the areas you can
Deal with what you have, give Him the rest
He will keep you on the right track
If you trust Him to keep your feet on the ground
He will keep your stress level under control
You won’t have to worry about “shutdown”
