Defeat comes when you lose sight of your goal 
Then you forget the evil one is constantly seeking your soul 
Your focus should be your goal to find 
To help a world that is walking blind 
They can’t find their way to the right kind of goal
Sin is rampant and on them taking its toll
If we don’t take the message and tell 
That God has opted a way out of hell 
Then we are defeated along with sinners
We all will be losers and not find the winners 
Our faith in God will let us before Him stand
But whose lives will be lost with blood on our hand 
God gave us a goal when we believed on His name
Giving opportunity for the whole world to do the same 
Our goal is to find the lost and God’s message tell
Jesus is the living water and is waiting at the well 
The well of salvation is full for all that receive 
Call on His name and simply believe 
He is the Christ who died for our sin 
Speak with our mouth and let Him come in 
Focus on Christ and never lose sight of the goal 
He offers salvation through Himself to every soul.
Don’t live defeated, show the world you care 
Take God’s great message and willingly share 
The day will come sitting at His feet 
You will rejoice with those who suffered no defeat.
