God's grace from Heaven is very calm 
Covering me like a soothing balm 
It's never rough like a raging sea
Never injurious when God is covering me 
It doesn't rush up my nose 
Like it came from a garden hose 
It never smothers when it covers me 
Never blinds my eyes that I can't see 
Doesn't weigh me down or push and shove 
It has all the gentleness of Heaven above 
Sometimes the only way you know its there 
It has removed the heaviness of your care 
Your heart is filled with such gentle ease 
Like the quietest stirring of a summers breeze 
Hope has taken the weight of the load 
Grace is urging you on down life's road 
Don't worry how God will get His grace to you 
His ways to do it are more than a few 
Just always remember His grace does abound
He's always willing to shower it down
