An Easter Message

Jesus was born in the manger
Because the world had no “room”
He was rejected and crucified
Buried in a borrowed tomb
They came on “Easter Morning”
After His death at the cross
Wanting to anoint His body
Consoling themselves over His loss
As they came through the cemetery
To the place where He had lay
They didn’t have a clue
This was His resurrection day
Angels were waiting for them
To share with them the good news
He is not here, but He has risen
To believe or not, which will you choose
You are the witness here today
The empty tomb can’t be denied
Look to Heaven for the One you are seeking
For His throne is occupied
