God, Messes and Me

The world may look a mess
But, that is the time for us to confess
No matter how big, God can clean it

Seems love has hid and evil has proclaimed
It will rule and we should be ashamed
Just like God, we should never quit

People had rather shed blood than share it for life
They have no useful weapon, just gun and knife
God’s Word is a weapon worthy of use

People are selling their soul for pleasure
That is where their wayward hearts store their treasure
They are being deceived by Satan’s abuse

Children are starving and being cast away
Hundreds upon hundreds each and every day
They will probably never have any concept of love

Grown ups are not caring to be examples anymore
The children are not being prepared for what is in store
It’s just more of the worlds push and shove

Open our eyes and let our hearts become bold
Fill us up with Your Word to treasure more than gold
Let us see what in the mess we must do

Help us to rise up as an army without number
Fearless and bold in Your Spirit very somber
Willing to follow directions from You
