Jesus was our perfect example
Of everything we ought to be
He lived here in human form
That example for us to see
He left His place in Heaven
To come live in a world of sin
He came to prove that love would conquer
He did it time and again
His faith was in His Father
Love drove Him to obey His will
He allowed Himself to be crucified
Loving His enemies still
His purpose was to be love
Love would change the heart of man
God’s kind of love that can heal
Being the answer when only love can
God’s desire for us is to be that same love
It is the light that will drive darkness away
That love is the permanent solution
But, it has to be shown God’s way
Love has to be the driving force
It came from Jesus with His every breath
If we really want to be like Him
Then we must love the world to death
