Sad or Glad

One of the saddest things in a morning
Is to have something so pressing on your mind
That the time to first say , “Hello, God”
You did not take to find
The morning gets well under way
Then you realize your nerves are getting raw
It has gotten you very stressed
But the coming attack you really never saw
You will begin to realize soon
That something is going very wrong
You need to back up and talk to God
What you should have done all along
The chore that you were so obsessed with
Grabbed control of body and mind
You hit the floor with completion your aim
Not realizing the frustration you would find
Nothing can be truly successful
No matter how compelling it may be
If at first you don’t commune with the Father
Taking time to allow frustration to flee
God has such wonderful power
That He makes available 24-7
All it takes to access it for use
In some “knee time” directed to Heaven
That blessed first minutes of the day
Will make all the difference in your world
For you will have already accessed the site needed
To combat all that evil can at you hurl
Don’t let yourself struggle with a sad day
Use all that power that God can send
Make your sad day a wonderful glad day
By spending some time with your very best friend.
